This was something that happened yesterday. I needed to go down to MOM and nearby to settle some work permit stuffs and then get some air tickets for some workers flying back in June. Since I am quite offloaded from work these days, I thought I will go public and got my guy to drop me to the nearest MRT to take a nice ride down the NE line.

Things settled and I decided to head back to office. Thing is I only know how to take MRT, not LRT and guys who stay around the Northeast knows there are 2 LRTs which I am totally confused as to which train to take since it serves 2 ways without fixed directions.

Looked around for LRT guys bu none. I caught an OL waiting about 1m away and asked her which train to get to XXX the destination nearest to the Defu industrial and she told me to wait for some colour coding on the information platform. Thanked her and continued waiting. When the next train came, I started to walk slowly towards the incoming train, unsure if I should take it. She caught up with me and 'confirmed' with me that this is the train I should be taking (Very responsible). Alot of people actually pushed past me which I didnt expect to happen. I eventually tried to get on board on time with the door crushing on me and I sort of pushed her in. I apologised profusely. Surprisingly, she turned around and faced me and that made it even more awkward cos she is like only 2/3mm away from me and I didn't dare move an inch. I think she could sense my uneasiness too. We spoke a little...

She: So its your first time coming here?
Me: er, not really, my office at defu area. but its the 1st time taking LRT here.
She: huh, isn't Kovan nearer to Defu!
Me: o ya! y didn't I think of that. Its so much nearer there hor. So, you stay around this area? (wanted to check out more about her cos she might be meeting her bf).
She: ya. LRT is an everyday thing for me. So you work nightshift?(cos its already 7pm)

Me: (Smile) Its quite a nice ride, good scenery (for me). I won't complain you know.
She: Then you take it more often to work. See you sian or not.

Some small talks and I eventually reached my destination.

Me: Ok, I reached. Thanks again for your directions. I might have ended up at don't know where if not for you. (Wanted to ask for her no, but dun dare.)

She: (smiled) I am also dropping here. So how are you going from here?
Me:.. er..
She: Actually got a bus stop near here. I can bring you to that stop cos I will be walking that way. you can take no. XX.
Me: (damn happy cos I think she is quite nice and would like to have abit morte time with her)ok. err, but what road is that? how near?
She: Just 3 mins walk. take XXX then walk abit and you will reach your the industrial area.
Me: o okok. (Quickly sms my driver to drive off and come back in 20mins.)

Eventually reached the bus stop. Expected her to leave but she actually sat down.
Me: you taking bus too?
she: no lah. Thought you might need me to guide you which bus to take. Wait with you ah.
Me: er.. thanks ah. So paiseh. I really idiotic ya.. Dun travel much (with public transport).

We continued making small talks, asking about her family etc. all about her... Until the bus came and we finally parted. Met eye to eye even when I was in the bus pulling away. We never exchange contacts.

I alighted at the next stop and got my driver to fetch me. My guy actually asked
D: Boss, how come you are here? you walk from LRT?
Me: (grinning and looking at my guy in the mirror). an angel brought me here..

Bro/sis, I need help. I feel that I want to know this girl. Any advice how to?

she even wait with you for bus and u still dont want ask for ctc?

best bet now is to go to lrt to try to see got see her and say want to treat her for dinner or something

My life is such that I am not lucky with love. But got tao hua. Serious r/s is not very smooth, though at times it seems promising, it doesn't actually last. Still pining for that day.

Had a couple of incidents myself.

Am sure you folks know that some people have the habit of leaning onto the metal poles in the trains. What happened was I had my hand on the lower part of the pole and was surfing on my bb with the left hand. Next thing I knew, an attractive OL came in and started to lean on the pole, with my palm now sandwiched between her bum and the pole.

I was afraid of embaressing her so I left it there and the instance she moved away from the pole, I removed my hand. although, I have to admit, it did feel nice.

The second incident was when I was on the North South line. I boarded at Raffles Place and that being a friday evening, it was extremely packed and to make matters worse, there was a bevy of people waiting to board the train at City hall. I was leaning against the glass panel near the entrance and after the surge of commuters coming into the train at city hall, i found my self having a very nice looking late 20s OL having her ass pressed against my 2ic. What made it even nicer was that she decided to lean on me as she was chatting happily with her gal pal. very nice feeling. The blood must have been all at my 2ic, cos my big brain was not thinking. Reachin my stop at Dhoby gaut, i alighted and after the door closed she smiled at me. damn... should have asked her for her number. Bird brain.

Seriously, everyday I'm taking the train as well. But for so many years, I never had this kind of encounter before. Don't know is I suay or what. Maybe I'm just not as lucky as some bro here.
