About 90% of HPV clear up on their own within two years. Most of these infections clear up within the first six months. There are many types of HPV, some cause genital warts. For long-term infections of high-risk types of HPV, which have the potential to cause cancer, are estimated to occur in only 1% of those infected. If you are worried, go take HPV vaccine. The vaccine not cheap, but worth it.

well cancer is not like gonorrhea where u take antibiotics can cure

if u kena hpv 16 or 18 i believe only 70% will clear by itself within 2 years and so even if u have a 10% chance of cancer, if that doesnt scare u i dunno what will

....

More than 90% of HPV type 16 and 18 are cleared by body within 2 years, to be precise, within 6-18 months. For 10% persistent infection which body couldn't clear, about 1-3% would develop into cancer. This means is 0.1-0.3% of all HPV infected people. I have done research to get the statistics. And as mentioned, please go get vaccine if you are concerned, the vaccine is very effective. 3g of AHCC could help to clear persistent infection, the success rate is 60% after 6 mths.

the high risk varities like 16 and 18 tend to take longer to clear...

i beleive only 60% cleared within 2 years if u read the studies on healthy males with hpv 16 and 18

getting gardasil is indeed wise...in australia it is already compulsory

for females they have a gel (Papilocare) that's proven to clear hpv 16 and 18 but for males nothing yet...

DSC should check the working ladies for HPV high risks via a pap smear every 2-3 months as well frnakly
