All tracking device need power source. the battery if very small will have very limited range (less than 10 meters)

those using GPS tracking consume large amount of power, if the battery is small, the useful tracking duration is less than 1 hour

mobile phone is the best tracking device as it contains large battery and built in GPS.

Secretly install the Life360 app onto her phone and track her from there. I use it to track if my kids are home from school.

I have a PI friend who said he subscribed to a service from the darkweb too.... but his company pay for it. His app is Omegalite by SORM... costs @ USD$250/= p/m

Actually quite simple with updated technology.
Sent an innocent sms to the target if you are on her friend list and the spyware will auto imbed itself into her phone when she reads the message.
Or if you are not in her list of contacts.... then the app will generate a random number to coldcall her..... similarly the spyware will auto infiltrate her phone the moment she answers the call.
The app not only allows you to track her in realtime but also lets you read her messages and access her contacts / photos etc.

My friend was recommended this app during his work as a PI and it helps tremendously in his work.

Your friend PI business must be doing great...... but kindly give him some friendly advice. SORM is a front company for the FSB.... dun scarly he unwittingly get sucked into espionage activities.

To pay US$250 is expensive for a tracker.... somemore is by monthly subscription. I am cheap charlie..... prefer using FOC apps.

Telegram is an app.
Afaik these spywares work mainly on devices.

But Mata Mata should have their own versions of these spywares as law enforcement in the SGP context means they are " above the law" with regards to using such spywares when it comes to intelligence gathering / investigations.

If kenna exposed or found out .... at most just get a Ministar to declare in Parliament "I was not aware......blah blah blah" and case closed (eg TT token case)
