Think 1id and day stay are 2 separate issues. Anyway, problem with most day hotels is the timing. Other than Robertson Quay Hotel transit (6 hrs), the rest of the hotels are hourly which can be quite expensive if u need for more than 2-3 hrs. So haven't found a hotel for just half day without staying overnight..
