I was laughing myself sick to the stomach the other day when I read a letter to the editor in the ST forum page, must be from a boot licker, that says "mandate assured as long as PAP remain incorruptible".

Well, to all the boot lickers, I say they cannot be corruptible. It's legalized and above board to pay themselves obscene salaries. They have made themselves probably the highest paid government in the world. The most powerful man in the world, the president of the United States, earns only a fraction of our PM's salary. If you pay me that kind of salary, I can also promise you that I will definitely be incorruptible. But I cannot promise you that I would not surround myself with top talents, foreign talents, and losses billions of dollars in business ventures and investments.

Our neighbors, Indo.M'sia, who has exp alot of corrupted officials in their Gov, would tel u confidently, if i hav ur Sillypore gov officials type of paycheck, do tink i will even need to be corrupted?

Jus look @ their paychecks(our local 1s) n justify it? if in the private sector, CEOs or directors having tt type of pay, the amount the earn for the coy is a sum unimaginable...

Hence corruption is in every gov, there is no such thing as a clean and uncorrupted gov on planet earth. There is onli "LEGALISED CORRUPTION" or plain corruption..

Oh ya.. Just heard from my in law that New Zealand is welcoming foreign talent to migrate over there... Now considering to give up my citizenship in 5 to 15 years time, give up MBT's "cheap and affordable" HDB, watever fuck etc etc to just move on with life over there...
