Price for everything seems to have gone rocket high.

Just last month, my regular chicken rice stall cost 26k rupiah (Budi Siang Malam).

This year 2024 January, it cost me 28k rupiah.

I think i can link the chicken rice price with the overnight booking girl price today in Batam.

About 10 years ago when i am in Batam, the exact same stall that sells the chicken rice at only 13k rupiah, today.... 28k rupiah/ plate.

Last time, same about 10 year ago, overnight girls cost about 600k rupiah(+/-) for me. Today... 1 million rupiah is really the minimum. And that was for those big fat old ugly ones.

I am just lucky that i am almost always "first time" coming to batam and i do not speak Indonesia Bahasa, which is why my maximum overnight girls today is still between 1 to 1.3 million rupiah.

My fundamental game in Batam is pay low, play high.

I start preparing for CNY 2024 Batam trip since 2 months ago.

1/3 of the above money were used to pay for 4 very big rooms in Batam.

I also know during CNY time, exchange rate in Batam sucks big time (WORST for the entire year). I am better off changing money in Singapore than in Batam. Which is why i need to change a lot before my trip. And it's going to a be longer than my usual stay.

And yes, i am still having my same share of small fun with those younger foot reflexology therapist.

Nothing special on the above gif photo without taking a slower close look.

I took about 30 mins to brighten up and trim the video then convert it to gif before posting it here and this reflexology is done in a public area (not private room), meaning there's many people walking around me.
