also if you read my profile you will know that though born and raised in London my parents are Sri Lankan. Oh and Sri Lanka has NOTHING! to do with India. Never has been connected in anyway shape or form, unless you believe mythology.
We have different foods, majority are Buddhists, we speak a language only spoken in Sri Lanka, There is a minority tamil population descended from Southern India living in Sri Lanka. They too speak a form of Tamil very different from India. Basically two different countries and identities.
