Singaporean man found dead in Batam, no signs of violence

BATAM - A Singaporean man was found dead in Batam on Saturday (Aug 10), the website of Batam newspaper Pos Metro Batam reported today (Aug 12).

The paper identified him as Mr Amar Lai, 45, and said he was taken to the Budi Kemuliaan hospital in a taxi on Saturday by an unidentified man.

The deceased was dressed in a T-shirt and knee-length shorts.

A hospital staff member on duty was reported to have found the deceased's fingertips had turned blue, the paper reported.
