Usually there will be some drivers with empty cars going back to hatyai town as they were hired for 1-way journeys by the tour agencies for their customers. These drivers will hang around the arrival hall and you can negotiate a price with them.... many can speak simple english or hokkien.

Not worth the hassle and trouble. 250b or 320b or 400 b ..at most extra 100 to 200b which is peanuts. When just arrived and tired, need a good shower and hit the ground to grab chicks so I don't mind just pay bit extra so can get out of airport and go downtown to hotel fast
