If they're not expensive stuff and you just want to store it for the time you are away from Zhuhai - why not just put it in a luggage and ask your hotel to keep it for you in their left luggage storage? Any hotel will do this for you FOC as it means that you will for sure be back to rent a room again.
In fact, you leave your stuff in a hotel room unattended, by the second or third day that the cleaning lady notices that you have not been back, she will either report it to management (and they will probably clear your room) - or worse, the cleaning lady would get her "friends" to help themselves to your stuff!!

ok the thing i left in my hotel is some lighter a few glass bottle .but when i stay hotel i sure infom them not to entry my room.will place them like a 1k sgd as deposit.so from time to time i clear the bill with rmb ,so they got no reason to entry my room.the cleaning lady will be more happy that she need not clean up the room.me have been staying in guo tai like 6 week stright. without checking out but i got a good deals from them lah .even when i was going away for 3 day per week ...but now think back money low also need not waste this type of money.
