Updates on the Calapadayan bars as of last night.
The foreign owned bars all seem to be operating in "fear" mode with a skeleton crew in each bar.... they expect to be raided anytime soon.
Crows is still chained shut from the previous raid.... Griffs and Miami bars had resumed business but had a miserly total of only 2 staff working in each of them.
Across on the other side..... the "local" bars did not have such problems..... in fact the 3 bars that we visited had reasonably sized crowds and most importantly...... they had nude girls dancing on the stage! It seems the crackdown by the police don't extend to these bars. The other thing was they were charging us 120p for a bottle of red horse whereas the locals pay only 55p
