The only abstinance is after birth for the vagina to heal. depends on individual,could be ard 1month if 1st birth. On subsequent birth could be as quick as 2-3 weeks. Wife was out shopping & walking normally next day, after 4th childbirth. sex was normal 5days after birth of our youngest (4th son).

Unless complications or warned by G&O otherwise I think there's lots of asian myth in all the abstinence talk. BTW,I'm local asian too but don't subscribe to many of the "pantangs" /myth bull shits. To each his own,I supposed.
