Joo Chiat. Was staying in Duku Rd (off Joo Chiat - 5 mins walk). Also did NS in
SC (police) prior to 2 yrs army. Joo Chiat/Geylang Serai was well known for
gang fights, gambling, racial frictions etc then. Recently, interesting publicity on
neighbours' quarrels and
vibrant night life. Too bad stayed in the
right place but wrong time!!
