Some newbie asking for guidance, anyhow write a very brief one:
Go habour front, buy wave master 2 way ferry ticket to go to Batam. Ferry will bring you to Habour Bay in Batam. Come out, get ticket at KAHA if arrive in the day time. Exchange money if necessary. Get to the taxi COUNTER, get a taxi and pay around Rp 50k or so. Can choose to pay in the counter or to the taxi driver. Get to the hotel. If you want, once you arrived at the habour bay, get the return boarding pass first also if you are very sure.
Arrive at formosa, some places that I have mentioned are, I only say once (take it as formosa as a reference point, in term of distance): Queen 8933, Femina, Indah 2, New Berlian, Permata Indah, Bourganville, Memory, Permai Indah, Jungle Mingle, Gold Bird, Harisona and Even Pelita Hotel! Don't forget also Massage 82.
As for KTV, not much chionging of KTV, these are all I know: Normally KTV gals if can book, will kinda expensive, unless those low class KTV (expensive, around 500k to 1millionRp, not expensive? Paying at least 500k for short time approx.). Some KTVs / Night club, most of the hotels have Karaoke/ night club e.g.: majesty, newtown (newly open), 89, swiss hotel, harmony (noname), nagoya plasa (GG), sydney (grand titanic), i hotel (i & G), planet (gravity), planet (disco & ktv), memory, .... some joints also have KTVs also, please see above.
Slowly you will learn but be extremely careful to get Free Lance gals from Planet and Pacific (to name a few places for FL). First timer, please ask some bros to guide along, as there are many traps. Don't make your chionging trip become a jailing trip.
Eating places a lot, don't worry, you have A1 foodcourt and many seafood restaurants nearby and kopitiam. To name a few, Nagoya Foodcourt (FC), windsor FC, Diamon FC ? (Near DC mall), Habour Bay FC, Hong Kong FC, many many FC.
Massage places are like mushroom after the rain, everywhere, you have Lindah, Dessy, Pas, Moonlight, Beauty Moon, Atalanta, Sports Massage, Bamboo, Taichi, Virgo Hotel, Trinity, Abi, Madurani, Javanese, Flower, Top One, Fortune, Flamingo, Universal, Sawadika, Indo Thai, 89 Massage, Utama Massage, Prince Massage & the list goes on.
Important note: For newbies chionging during public holidays, always have backup plan in mind, be patient and be tolerance, cause during long weekend, everything goes crowded, in term of hotel and availibility of gals plus sometime get dissapointed. Do get your return schedule fixed first.
Getting around: NED (nagoya entertainment district)is kinda small, so, getting around can get a trustworthy taxi driver, how to judge? by conversation and by body language/gesture. A day (cause of distance) can bargain around Rp 300 k FOR 1 day (discuss the definition of "1-day", not 24-hour) or so but don't forget about the petrol and meals things, whether include or not depend on distance also. For undecided, unless you want to venture the town, if not, IF staying in a convenient places, can just hire around Rp 50k per trip or so(within NED area ONLY, don't ever go far far away e.g.: go to Tg Uncang or Airport, if that is the case, I also can't help you!), go and back to hotel, can save a bit.
Commission (from joints to taxi driver), can discuss with taxi driver, that is why sometime the 1 day charter fee is LESS than Rp300k cause the joint you pick up gal will give the driver commision in many ways, from gal to ciggies to money to...... list goes on.
