Buying a house in Indonesia is not like buying in Singapore. Each country has their own system. Singapore follows the British system, whereas Indo follows the Dutch.
When you buy a house, it is called jual/beli only. Then you got to go to the notaris to stamp the documents. Followed by more documentations and finally, the certificate, which means the house belongs to you. And each process cost some money too. There are tax to be paid on the way, and the process can be long too. May be up to a year. To make things simple, you go to the notaris( something like lawyer) to process for you.
The apartments that is going to be build near Batu Ampar is called Harbour Bay apartments. Under the Citra Buana Group. The mall has Carefour and it is schedule to open in December 09, like it or not, they have to finish the job in 4 months time, or they have to pay penaty to Carefour group.
