This current format of a single rolling never-ending thread isn't the only way to do it. It's actually unusual, not the way most big forums do it. And with user-created topic titles, the people with those DUH questions would be posting those in a separate thread too ("Do you know any GF hotel in Dist 1?"), easily avoided by those annoyed by that kind of thing, and easily found and replied to by members interested in helping. And of course at the top of the page would be those sticky topics, the FAQs for Hotels, Nightclubs, etc. where those places are identified, addresses included, etc. Having that would greatly reduce the newbie-dumb questions.

I think if specific threads were allowed, this section would quickly grow, and that would be good for everyone.
