I agree with you on the fact that more half the people is outside of HCMC. Like Macau or Singapore, HCM is the city in Vietnam that most of the young people aspire to go.
You can't compare China with any other countries just like you cannot compare Singapore with Russia. If you want the best looking chinese girl you should go to China. If you want to look for the best looking vietnamese you should go to ???
