It is actually quite easy to make coffee using the filter.

1. Put about 2 table spoons of coffee powder into the Filter.

2. Use the "plunger" and press down into the coffee powder to pack in tight. (not to tight if not, water wont flow out)

3. Slowly pour hot water into the filter bit bit till you just cover the coffee powder. This is to "hardern" the powder to make it into cake-like.

4. next, place the "plunger" back and pour till about 3/4 fulls and wait for the water to filter through.

Please note that if the water is flowing through to fast, the coffee powder is not packed tightly enough. if it takes to long to flow through, it is packed to tight. A good cup is when the coffee is actually "dripping" into the cup and it looks like rain drops.

If still to confusing, I am actually taking some photos on how to make Viet Drip Coffee.
