The point of a divorce is to seek a clean break and a fresh beginning. Why seek a divorce if you intend to hold joint assets after the divorce is finalised? The intention to divorce is questionable.
The hdb you bought is based on a family nucleus. I have friends who bought out each other's share after a divorce. So end up the husband is the sole owner now and the transaction was completed provided he's above 35 and MOP period is fulfilled.
