In any case, tldr from the news article, look out for potential causes of this problem.
1. Kid arrives
2. Poor choice of sleeping arrangement, whereby the kid sleeps in the parents room and worse, on the parents bed.
3. Both parents working and tired by the time they get home.

So if problem can be nipped at (1) then in theory the whole issue about sexless marriages will not occur? Would be interesting to hear from married but childless couples whether they manage to keep their sex lives active till 40s and 50s beyond?
