Agreed. A maid is actually another profession, no diff from a FL, ML, accountants, lawyers, aircrew, etc. just that they serve different bosses and target groups...
Ppl started off going for maids because:
1) first impression they are "clean" because they work in a household,
2) they are lonely and horny because they dont get to fuck due to no or little time off (in the beginning of the maid scheme),
3) due to the above, perhaps a topup card will suffice because since no outside contacts, they mostly call home,
4) win win for both parties
Nowadays, the maid scene is so different. They can come out so frequently and at so irregular hours (especially when bosses are outstation), its a money making biz for them ($200 x 3 bonks per day = almost same salary per month already). I know one maid where her employer allows her to drive the family car to the carpark wash bay for washing... Filter their photos abit and guys suddenly drool over them. With the proliferation of social media and maid network, they are not worried no takers despite what we comment about them online.
So for me, already ticked off "maid" category from my bucket list and moving on to another "profession"...Chinese proverb says: Good horse never eat return grass...(literal translation lah)
