Not disagreeing with your comments. The question that we want to ask ourselves is are we ready to endure the agony of waiting, uncertainty, doubt, money when living is already such a chore...

For sure there happy endings like yourself but I believe there are equally unhappy endings that we won't hear of.

In the end, human relationships is a tricky matter to handle. So we want the starting point as smooth as possible so that it won't become something that is contentious at a later stage that leads to unhappiness and subsequently breakup...
