FR - 01 June - 02 June 2007 (Fri to Sat)
hello fellow BT-cheongster bros!
me went for another trip.. again.. last Friday afternoon till Saturday afternoon. My buddy had already left on Friday morning and fortunately, he had already booked a room at Hotel Utama 'cause the hotel was fully booked. However, this time round, he booked the deluxe room which cost him RP310K compared to the first when we were there where we paid only RP224K. No choice, that was the only room available. I had to text him to book a room for me at Pagoda Hotel which is walking distance from Utama. The room costs RP138K.. SUPER CHEAP!.. or so i thought, I'll explain later..
Anyway, took the 2.30pm ferry and arrived at Batu Ampar. Me now abit bold, asked all the cab drivers how much to Utama. The usual reply would be RP30K, so I decided to take a slow walk out to see if anyone would be willing to accept lower. Then this guy asked if I wanted to take his bike, asked him how much and he said RP10K.. mai tu liao.. take! Quite fast and shiok actually.. and cheap too! For bros who have light luggage, maybe you can try taking the bike instead..
Reached Utama, paid the rider and off I went to meet my buddy. He brought me to Pagoda Hotel (which is facing DC Mall actually), paid up, took the breakfast coupons (2 somemore, i guess they know what we were there for) and to the room i went. The moment i stepped in, was quite disappointed though.. the room was very warm, very sparse, got tv but no cable channels and NO remote control.. overall, I just wished that Utama had an extra room for me. It was just bad lah overall... but no choice, squeeze balls lor..
Then did all my personal admin stuff (toiletries, clothes etc me went empty handed and in my office wear) then went makan and talk cock at the nearby coffeeshop.. then we decided to go Island Garden.. my buddy paid RP500K
for a 22yr old cewek, who claimed to be a Uni student and according to my buddy, she's damn tight.. Her name's Hani or Honey. I didn't get any cause too ex for me.. so sent them back to hotel and i wandered around town alone. I know it's dangerous but what the heck.. went Maxim, some massage parlours etc the remaining ceweks all cannot make it man.. sianz.. called my rider up and he brought me to 02 locations, the last being Permata Indah (besides a huge food court, can't remember the name). Saw one quite ok to me, paid RP300K and off i went back to my 'lovely' hotel room. Her name's Rina.. got her pix but how to upload in here ah?
For once, this cewek moaned.. overall quite a good lay...
Did it twice with her then off to dreamland i went.. Well, i didn't have a good night sleep coz my body was itching.. most possibly it's the mattress.. sigh..
Woke up at 8.30am (9.30am SIN Time).. gave Rina S$4.00 for taxi fare.. didn't sleep well, body itching.. knn.. I didn't even bothered washing up, called my buddy up immediately and asked if i can go over to wash up. Of course he said yes then checked out immediately.. I even went to breakfast together with him in Utama.
Lesson learnt from this trip? I will book WAY in advance (Utama of course) and will not settle for anything less. The cheaper the hotel, naturally, the standard will drop too. After Pagoda's experience, cannot compromise on comfort for sure! hahahahaha! It was indeed an experience.. nothing ventured nothing gained, right bros?
And here's something new for fellow BT-cheongster bros.. in Hotel Utama, you can book a rooms at corporate rates i.e. standard room, U.P. RP288K. Corporate rate RP170K!
All you need to do is present your business card to anyone of the chio-bu front office girls and tell them you want to be a corporate member. The discount after calculation is around 25% off the listed price! I mean why not! The more the better right? Utama also offer membership but discount is only 10% off the listed price. There's no corporate card of any sort, they will send you info via fax according to your business card.
However, the down-side would be, Hotel Utama will be sending the corporate members REGULAR updates of the hotel's rates and offers via fax. Of course, in the fax, it will also state the usual, 'Thank you for staying in Hotel Utama, we hope you had a comfortable stay with us and we hope to see you soon'. Unless you are unafraid that your colleagues or even superiors see this REGULAR fax, then go for it bros! Me and buddy had already signed up coz we don't care about what others say.. save money more important! hahahahahahahaha!
Oh before I forget, my buddy reminded me to change my money to IDR (Indonesia Rupiah) in BT itself. The rates are better coz he changed in Spore. Last Friday, Spore was offering 5600 and BT was offering 5700.. a hell lot of a difference if you ask me..
Here's the cost breakdown for my trip:
1) Ferry tix - S$34.00
2) Cewek - RP300K (approx S$52.65)
3) Shopping - RP500K (approx S$87.08. me bought a briefcase that's why abit high on the shopping part)
4) Makan - RP100K (approx S$17.54)
5) Transport - RP40K for motorbike (including tips) (approx S$7.01)
- RP50K for taxi (approx S$8.77)
Overall expenditure = S$207.05
