I always ask my gal to book hotel room for me.
With the idea you have, it seems defeat the purpose of asking my gf book room because when check in, she surrender her id and i surrender my passport. I am always seen together with my gf moving in and out of the hotel...
As a guest, do you surrender your passport to the recep?
