Speaking of what police will do, I can't guarantee all outcomes will be the same but I got checked a few times. Never had any problems.

But the most classic case was at a famous reservoir spot. Was at the lower carpark happilly doing it at around 4am, noticed a little light like a torch. Ignored it thinking it was a peeping tom we were familiar. Then a few knocks on my window. Oh no! its police. Very quickly scrambled some clothes on and open door. Horror of horrors.. it was a female police officer. She asked.. what are you doing?

I thought this time sure kena already but some reflex response got me pissed rather than scared and I asked her back.. "do I have to verbally tell you what you just saw???" And my FB, a rather timid girl started laughing. This time it was the policewoman that looked paiseh. Then she mumbled "just checking" or something before she walked back to her car about 10m back on main road.

I encountered a few times police at this famous spot. Mostly they will have their lights and blinkers on and drive by slowly. So never a problem.
