My field report:
This was my first time in Angeles so stayed at the ABC hotel. Can't say I like it cos I find it too ostentatious and the furnishings too rich. Furniture needs refurbishing.
On the bars along fields avenue, i visited as many as I could on the first night. My taste is a bit atas so places like Q bar, monsoon, vikings, champagne were found lacking as the girls look older, fatter and frankly the type old white men I see going for in Thailand too although there were a couple of gems.
The two places I found myself going back repeatedly were club xs and club Xanadu/Ra. Thoroughly enjoyed their shows of dances. Only see these at Gentleman bars in Bangkok. Mamasan were a bit pushy but it was OK as the drinks were not ex at 350 pesos.
At both places, barfine two girls, each 3500 pesos on separate nights. Very cheap by Thailand standard.
Good experience so likely will make a return trip.
