Im sure you guys dont catch up on Saigon's newspapers. Anyway, the municipal laws have just changed for nightspots. Clubs are allowed to close at 2.
To a small extent, connections does allow the clubs to be free from police touble. However, raid do take place on places like Gossip (especially) and Volcano... Usually they come before 12 midnight (b4 the law change) to ensure that they close on time. The clubs sometimes come up with excuse like they just opened or had just renovated, thus they need to open for longer hours to get more well known or recover the costs. Thats when the coffee money gets handed over.
In anycase, if any of our SBF bros get caught up during a police raid. Please don't be chivalrous and try to bribe you and your friends out by offering USD. Most of the time, the police there are to catch underage girls and make sure they close on time. So its a much wiser idea to stay a low profile.

Oh, one more thing. I noticed that Gossip on a friday night when i go there has live performances at about 9....There is a guy performing throwing bottles with fire...Is that a daily occurence? Anyone knows that this is a standard at all the various clubs?
