For the Batam's best roti prata?
Hehehe..."best" here is in my own definition of course. Believe me,i have ate enough roti prata in Batam before (as well as Singapore and Malaysia too)...and this has got to be one of the best. Too bad, this guy only do business after 5pm onward and i only bump into this food store by accident in my last trip (Aug 2017).
Surprise to see roti prata made by Indos instead of indians. And they are quite expensive...at 6.5k for the kosong version and 2 pieces for 12k. Remember,i say expensive is becos i am comparing base on Batam term,hehehe...when curry puff cost 3k per piece. Roti prata at Indo Rasa food court cost 10k,if i dont remember wrong.
Forget to add,i think this roti prata beside being just extra crispy,it also has a bit of fish oil aroma...i think the chef add a bit of those "fish oil thingy" and mixed it into the flour.
This place is inside
Baba Street food court. Behind Formosa Hotel, between Nagoya City Walk Mall and Acia Food Court. I went there twice in my last trip and once it wasnt open ,my guess is the store opens after 5pm.
Enjoy!
PS : I know you are asking about Pulau Galang ex vietnam camp,it may be coming soon once time allows me,hehehe...
