For God's sake, why would you want a portable modem with USB connection to your laptop?? Does not your laptop have a wifi card?

Buy a single portable WiFi modem/router!
It's small like a soap. You insert your SIM card. You keep it in your pocket. Then you have a Wifi hotspot moving with you, to which you can connect up to 10 devices, for example your laptop, your smartphone(s), and even the smartphones of your friends and girls.
If your modem is 4G, with a 4G Simpati card in Batam you get up to a few tens of Mbit/s. (I remember a price like 100k-140k for a SIM card with 7GB for one month)
