I have a viet male friend, my ex colleague in fact, he always told me nv ever go to KTV in viet coz a lot will chop us foreigners. So all the way I go HCM I will never go a KTV so far ... abit hum coz in other ppl's territory ...
He has also advised me not to book those low grade hotels, worse is motels.
The reason is because the Viet Communist Police will raid these hotels/motels more than touching those ATAS hotels.
-> I have nv tio before, so cannot confirm about this advice.
Next advise he'd say if we wanna get gfe girls, better confirm she has no lovers or no husband in viet. You won't wanna get blackmailed if really a husband stomps into your room when you are banging the girl ...

Personally, for myself and my group of lupsup buddies, usually when we go viet, HCM to be precise, we have a lobang.
She is something like a mama-san, she will recommend social escorts to me or my group of friends. But she must know the dates we wanna have the girls come to us, and then she will send some girls' pics over via wechat or zalo.
If we are ok with the girls, then she will send the girl(s) over to our stated lodging on the date we requested.
It was sometime this year, I've roughly paid SGD100++ per day to the girl, and well, during daytime when we are touring, the girl is my tour guide and translator (if her english/chinese can make it), and at night or back in our rooms, they will be wild on the bed~
