Yalor.. last April I went Vietnam, as I took the morning 0710 flight, reach hotel in HCMC only 9am plus. Asked to checked in hotel room early kena charged 1/2 day rate.

Never encountered that in Batam. As long as room available, they let you check in. Most hotels..
