I am actually quite reliant on google translate when i talk to them. And when they use google translate to convey their message to me,it kind of also jeopardize my massage time. Timing to me is very important,wrong day,wrong timing at the massage shop,it would be less easy to get 100k HJ and 200k FJ.
No harm giving an extra 30k to 50k extra tip if she does her job REALLY well since i dont exactly count in 100k HJ and 200k FJ as a form of tipping.(it would be more of an agreed price for a task-to-be-done)
One more thing to add,once i get so accustomed to a particular therapist,their standard of service tends to drop. So i dont exactly enjoy sticking to any one particular therapist or massage lady for long.

Agreed with you,some of the places i went to,the girls didnt even bother asking if i want special or pop GQ (becos they see my face there quite regularly,hehehe..). After all the deed was done,i ask them how much do i owe them and they often tells me, "Up to you"... and when they say that,i usually give them 10k (hj) most time ...just to tease them,hehehe...i didnt really give them 10k rupiah for a hj of course. But i like to see their surprised facial expression from the 10k rupiah,hehehe...you know,that kind of expression when a person is disappointed,then suddenly the tide turns in favor for them and they suddenly become happier,hehehe...
Surprise gifts of a box of J.Co 24 mini donuts works pretty well,hehehe...(cost less than 50k and my regular girl/s there is happy to share it with her colleagues)

I remember there was twice i recommended a few closer friends to a few of those pure breed Indo Chinese girls joint and i was surprise my friend wasnt offered the GQ. He came out telling me that the girl didnt offered him GQ and this incident actually happened twice. (the girls speak relatively fluent teochew/hokkien & English)
Maybe the girl/s may have thought that my friends were just as stingy as me,hehehe...or maybe she doesnt need to offer special service to every customers or MAYBE,she already chopped (carrot) someone else that day which could last her a few days/weeks,hehehe...I am just guessing.
