I read thru your FR no less than 5 times.No matter how i look at it,i can only find 2 mistakes and they are not like a REALLY big mistake.
1. Wrong Hotel stay for a beginner from my personal perspective.
2. Booking full day driver at the wrong place (or if its newbie me,i booked 500k/day tho i know its a mistake but it must be from hotel reception)
Keep this in mind,there is no such thing as a reliable driver in Batam or a reliable OKT. My summaries already says it many times,any taxi drivers i used were all "unreliable".
Walking around is the best way to boost one's confident in Batam. I met bros here from my group trips who didnt even DARE to walk in into a booking joint w/o company. There is always a 1st time for everything,its only a matter of getting used to it.
In my solo trip days,i walked.i visit booking joints,dwell in them for hours. I source for solutions. I dont have to visit all the joints in a single day,i usually goes 3D2N,so i divide the joints i plan to visit by 2. Moreover,there will always be next trip. I always remind myself,hehehe... God only give me one dick,and there are many girls in Batam i wish to bonk. Take one step a time when you are new. i know which are the 5 major joints,stick to this 2-3 out of 5 for now and save the rest for other days.
In my 1st day of my 1st Batam trip,i only visit one joint,hehehe...and got a big fat girl.
1 of the thing i feel i can be a little different from others is when i am in a situation or be face with a problem,i learn to seek a solution (or 2) instead of blaming (not referring to you),hehehe... what i share about Batam in this thread are just personal experience meant for sharing, learning purposes and at most time they are my "side notes" for my own future Batam trip reference. Anyone willing to pick up my experience to use it in their Batam trip is entirely up to them.

If you happen to be interested in joining my upcoming Sept 2015 Newbie Learning Batam Group trip (i know,you didnt say you are) ,do keep a look out for my Sept itinerary in this thread regularly. It will be out usually about 7 to 10 days before the actual trip and there are no monetary charges,just read my
terms and conditions,agree to it and send me an intro of yourself (age group,race,your experience in Batam etc) to me AFTER my itinerary is out on Sept 2015. But i need to say this beforehand,due to limited car seats,i am unable to accept everyone who PM-ed me during those time.I can only pick those who shares the closest frequency with everyone who are in. If you are not the chosen one,it does not mean you are not good or anything. There will always be group trips on Oct,Nov,Dec and Jan 2016,like the rest of the previous months.
I usually will tell people that if no one comes,at most i just run solo which i enjoyed better,but this coming trip will again be a little different from my last few other group trips.I cannot say i will run solo anymore becos i already have a confirmed 1+1 at the point of this post,hehehe... Its suppose to be my "blessed trip" (unlike my 19th trip on Aug that is suppose to be "cursed"),so i am planning a little bigger in group size,perhaps combining both Private group with Newbie Learning group together. Nothing is confirm yet.
My usual objective,we go together,we learn together and then we can all grow together. Be it in this thread or in Batam.
