Lower end suk from soi 0 puts you off with arab/mid east grottos.
Soi 15 has bitter sweet memories, with my 1st forays to Bkk circa 2004-2005. I stayed at apartment style Royal President. Big rooms, with satellite wing junior suite. Think worn out now. Then I had a minor accident in middle of night going to loo (after dastardly act with gal). Kns, the wooden door fell off the hinge and escaped with minor bump on my leg. Silly standard apology, but no offer to compensate inconvenience (like perhaps free meal voucher
). Those days cost thb1600.
The corner Kopitiam duck rice was grotty, so was Manhattan then
Then in 2009, I moved to new Kingston Suites next door. But even that has gone to the dogs I hear from crony. Dream hotel opposite is remake of an old beat up hotel (forgot name). Not most comfy.
The stretch along Suk near Themae is called Golden Mile, not for nothing. You get CMI dark ladies hanging out at stalls with or without old farangs. Probably can do something for those who don't mind el cheapo bonks after losing out elsewhere.
As for Thermae, beware some katoeys outside the main entrance.
As for the risks hiso or loso gals, guess it's common sense by practising safe sex. Have rubbers will travel, and RAW is WAR
