Flight unless u want to stop n smell the roses. I took a double decker "Lux" bus n was half dead when I arrived in PP. The road works on certain stretches of the route are excruciating to travel unless you are a hardcore budget traveler. From PP I took a hired car ride to Siem Reap. Along the way, you can do a detour to tonle sap.
