Carnaval Mall was a total crap,much worse than you have stated. Should have listen to your advise on this,but curiosity tends to kill the cat,hehehe...and i am that cat...lol. Apparently as of date,90% tenants of that mall has moved to Kepril Mall according to the security guard there,and DC mall which i visited was indeed a WONDERLAND!!

Chance upon it on my last trip,fairly new and with in-room Wifi,and is also a 2 star hotel (Dju Dju hotel)at S$23...lol...beats bro iccy's recommendation of Sinar Bulan hotel by S$1 (which is a 1 star hotel). Oh,location is somewhere between Formosa and Goodway,so it is still considerably ok...i dont know why booking.com rating for this hotel is 5.8 tho,hehehe...
