I speak almost no Bahasa. I live on the other side of the world and I can/have to speak Bahasa only when I go to Batam, that is (unfortunately) only few days and 4-5 times a year.
I chatted a lot with a girl in Batam on WhatsApp, long long conversations using Google translate. I learned much of my Bahasa from Google. Imagine...
Of course NoName MUST be be in operation. It's the best place where to meet regular upper-class girls. But it's a hit&miss. Good thing is that, when it's 3am and I see that my chances at NoName are null, because the only interesting girls are busy with others, I can move to Pacific or Newton.
The bad thing of NoName is that in the last year I have seen an increasing number of GOOD LOOKING young bule. I was used to be the only handsome there, plus some old bule, but on my last visits I had to face the competition of young handsome blonde guys from maybe Australia.
