Bro Naka, the $188 just covers the ferry operator's fee, and does not include the seaport taxes. You will still have to pay the seaport tax at harbourfront and at batam centre for each trip.

Not too sure how much is the seaport tax, but if I'm not wrong, it's about 20ish total for 2-way.

This season ticket will only really be worth it if you make more than 10 round trips per month.
