yup if u wanna find tables with seats in santika its best u ok early.its impossible to get the waiter or waitress to get u a table with seats if u go late,the most they can do is get u a small table to put ur drinks and u stand all the way.Bro u should listen to more thai songs and u will enjoy the live band part.

Exactly how early should I be heading down there? I suppose 10pm is out of the question then.. but going to a club at 9pm sounds lame!

I'm willing to give Thai bands a chance. Unfamiliar with the language, sure, but as they all say, good music transcends language and gender. :)

went to spago on ratchada a few times during my last visit. my average stay there was about 3 hours (e.g. 11pm to 2am) each visit. no private room, just stayed in the main lounge and with only 1 girl. she had regular mixed drinks and i had only beers and no hard liquor. my charge was bht3900 before tips.

thai music cannot go wrong esp when the crowd sing along. u can feel the vibes in the pub! and as the nite goes on and the drinks flow, u find yourself blended into the crowd and thats where u start to target the birds.


i usually go about half 10 to 11 and f@# packed. just tip the waiter and he/she will get u a small table or if u can, share table with a group of birds. hahaha. whichever works!

first why would you wanna drink in a MP?? Hi-end MP girls' time are not cheap and depends on how many drinks you and the girl had lor

With tat kind of price easily better off going to G-Club, more chiobu and better entertaining value or KTV if you want peace n quiet.

my 2 cents, unless ur jus there for the drinks n relaxation only...otherwise dun waste time tryin to fish Massage girls Espcially at their work place...you will burn Big hole...if they like you they can choose not to work and spend time with you elsewhere, which happened to my friend.:cool:

we were at inch at 11plus on a thur, place was packed full and totally couldnt see any table available, asked the waiter if open bottle can get table for 7 person and they managed to actually squeeze out a table jus beside the DJ console.

Later saw two puying alone on 2nd flr, two of my friends went ake them their names, i followed later n ask if can join them togther drink, end up all 7 of us actually went n join jus 2 of them, they even share their bottle of label with us:D


i learn tat if u jus let down be alittle thick-skin and daring/adventurous and jus party without any hesitation or restriction you will have an enjoying time:cool:

exactly!!! go with no high expectations to score (of course would be ideal if can), just let go and enjoy the music and the crowd. just smile a little and they will reciprocate. pple are generally warm and frenly unlike here...here edgy and anytime can fight one!!!!!!

i always enjoy myself whenever i go pubbing in bkk....song saleung, booze, santika, muse, curve, jet, slim, prop bar, etc

for fri and sat i will go such places latest by 10pm for the other days i will consider 1030pm will be gd enough to get decent tables to enjoy.hope this helps and enjoy the high local crowd singing to the thai tunes

i went there to just relax and chill out. lady's charge was bht300 every 45min. so 3 hrs = bht1200. this leaves bht2700 for charges on drinks, which seems rather high. i had about 4 singhas only. i was not a regular, so i guess they padded the bill.
i gave the KO girl bht500 tip.

As i said MP girls n services r not cheap, price structure is similar to G-Club.
If you like tat type of environment then be prepared to pay or consider joining their membership - most places starts with 20KB but some places you can try nego for 10kB - less bottles less LDs blah blah, otherwise if its jus a companion ur after, barfine any lady out from Nana or Soi Cowboy 500~800B (Im not sure how is KTV in BKK like, but Ayutthaya Jap KTV barfine is only 500B), then bring them go to any other place to drink...cheaper

heh 800B Barfine, 100B for 4cans Leo (tapao back to hotel drink), 80B taxi fare, 2KB ST = less than 3KB and still get to fuck:cool:


oh heck jus be adventurous la, head down to any pubs or discos, easily u can find people to drink with you wan la:p

Used to be a member at Spago. Found better places to park my membership money at. Haha. Have not been here for ages so pricing might have increased over the years.

Lady Drinks (Time Charge):
1st 45min usually starts with 2 drinks for most places.
3 Hours = THB1500 (5 Drinks)

Additional Drinks:
[You] THB150-200 (4 Beers) = THB600-800
[PR] THB300 (? Cocktails) = THBXXX
[Mamasan] THB300 (1 Cocktail. I usually close one eye to this. Take it as tip to her.)

Service Charge: THB100

If you worked out the math. Perhaps your PR has about 5 cocktails? Your bill is about right. If you want to damage control. Sign for every slip when your PR request for a cocktail. Check the quantity of drinks written. Scan through all those slips when you settle the bill. Scrutinsed those without your signature. Best is to just open a bottle of whisky and utilise the bottle. Just pay for mixers and ice. This is easier to keep track than to remember how many drinks and cocktails are ordered. Whisky is rather cheap and don't worry if the PR drinks like a fish. You never know what surprises you'll get with a drunken PR. French kisses and some rubba rubba. ;)

Unless you want to followup THB500 tip is too much for such places but it's up to individual. If you behave like a carrot head in clubs/KTVs. They'll just chop you for what you are worth. Sometimes chop a little bit is ok. When they are happy you'll also get good service.

Spago and Claudia is B- grade Club/KTV. Something like Golden Mile disco. G-Clubs like Caribbean and Resort will be a bit more expensive. Classier. Even classier is Piano, Exotica and Pegasus. Freaking break the bank even for one night's expenses. I can cheong China or Ho Chi Minh clubs/KTV for 2-3 nights with the same money. That explains my absence in Sawasdee Khrap land these days. Jer gan. :p
