I will be gg to hatyai in may to attend a wedding and will be staying in the Bp samila beach resort (songkhla). Is it very far away from all the happening joints the bros are talking about in this thread ? As this is my first time gg to hatyai, pls advise.

As per google map, the distance between BP Samila Beach Hotel and Hatyai City is about 36.5km apart. Well maybe you could go and touch the Golden Mermaid statue if you wish...

Bro AA06, Songkhla is about 30 minutes drive from HY. There only beach, seafood (make sure u order from Thai and not those Muslim cos not delicious). I think still have gals but i duno where cos never stay overnight b4. There are also underwater Aquarium (sea? can't recall) in songkhla also. There is also a shooting range. Enjoy urslf and im sure the local will bring u around.
