Although I am not in Hatyai but Cebu at the moment...... it is the same situation here. The PI gahmen has declared this year's CNY as a public holiday which is the 1st time this festival has been officially recognised here. And the prices has seen a marked increase from last year even though the number of filipinos celebrating are in the minority. :mad:

Nowadays any public holiday is just an excuse to raise prices.

To all Bros,

I'm thinking of goin to Hatyai from 28/5/12 to 31/5/12. Probably goin alone as none of my frens are free and this is my first time there. going there from aus so need help for the experts here about where to go to get gems. As I have done some reading in this thread and it seems like SGV or merlin hotel is good place to stay judging by location wise. Feel free to drop your suggestion. Also is 20,000THB enuff for 4 days? FYI i wouldn't mind pay abit extra for model like gals and thinking of doing double. hehehehe. Pls small brudder here. thanks all.

1. Prices bk tonormal fm Mon(hotels n gals ) In-cty food n transport, enquire
1st.
2 hotels on outskirt(still in cty) is cheaper.

3. Farm---Tell motorcycle(20-30, go to Merlin or Chani Vate, Drop off at
drink stall, and observe surrounding while u shake off the motor/tuktuk.
Gals fm 1500 to 3k. Bargain n no obligation.
4. Body massage soapy n firing(1.5 hr).......The stretch at Emperoe hotel,
eg, Atami.(800 to 1200)

Just got back this morning according to OKT that i visited, price for the gals will go back to normal as on Sat, dont know about the Hotels, just go to any travel agents, its cheaper, but not all agents will sell the hotel you want. eg. my trip almost all rooms are full, i check with 1 agent and get my room for 1300baht per night, but met a guy who walk in he got it at 1250baht, same hotel as me. would recommend you MayFlower hotel , new & nice , go to Chan Travel normal price is 950baht is just 5 mins walk, enjoy your trip

Went to Sakura GV massage, the fish view tank all boarded up. Could not view to choose anymore. WTF. No F anyway, clean massage :D

if u dont mind juz outside core city area, let me recommend u one.
simply called 2b apartment..400baht can get alrdy. Big clean roon, big bed, no
tub. Soi 3 Rajthutit. If not sure, mention Thai Hotel. See a one n only 4 storey apt from Thai Hotel, only 60m apart. Wi-fi Im not sure. Plenty of food
at main road, internet n local nite KTV. This is not for the CITY BOYS.
