Any brudder here can advise which timing is the best to take a bus from Pudu in KL to Hatyai?

We have from morning bus to late at night bus.

Also, should we buy our return bus ticket from KL or from Hatyai? I have read that buying from Hatyai is cheaper but afraid of ticket sold out.
