Once i reach HY , i will go to one of the many travel agency at HY and purchase hotel vouchers. I will save the prices you given in my phone and see what the agency will give me.

Sounds fun.. I heard of tat b4.. My frn told me tat we shld visit this temple if we r game enough to face sone stray bullets flying left rite centre..
But heard tat it us jaga by military n there r 2 to 3 more temples around the vicinity worth visiting..

Bro, Lee garden not so good. Tho its not very old but the interior looks old. New Season still ok but dun think the price is worth it. Garden home is cheap but abit far. So i think Golden Crown Plaza still the best. (850 baht sometimes can bargain till 820 baht or 800 baht).

8-10 yrs back, i had drove to patani or yala to visit 'Lim Gor Neo' temple. But later, it was burnt down by .........???? After that, bombing starts. Hai..... Bullet flying, u still can be in one piece, wait they blast u, duno become how many pieces. Im sure HY still got lots of temples for u to visit, better dun risk going patani or Yala.

Planning a trip to hatyai in nov but need to go to pak bara in satun 1st for fishing. Any contacts or assistance to get transport for 6 pax, pick us up at hatyai airport transfer to pak bara satun.

Thanx bro, we try our luck lor.. Heard b4 tat some people half way kana road block by army, den the army infd the cab driver tat there is gunfight at the vicinity of their intended destination, they no choice but had to make u-turn.. If we also kana, den no choice, U-TURN lor.. :)

Seriously, if one is concerned about safety, best don't go.

I have been there twice in 2009, and in a SG registered car. Once only me and one puying, the other was in a group. Yes, we did passed a few military checkpoints, must say, they were ready to shoot type.

Twice, we were not asked to turn back. Pity that I did not get the chance to visit Lim Guan Neo.... Only to visit WatNatawi, within the temple facilities, there was a baby hummer.......

Bro, If really kena road block then maybe you can consider going wat pakoh north of hatyai to pay respect to Luang Phor Tuad. The temple is also popular for Luang Phor Tuad where Luang Phor was born in that province

From what I know there are many crystals for rent, if you are Luang Phor Tuad follower you know what I mean. The crystals are not on display have to ask the Archan there.

Bro, u can just go to any tour agency. If they quote any amount more than 850baht, u just tell them shit and nonsense that u or ur friend book b4 or thick skin abit say u book at the rate of 820baht b4 see whether they buy ur story or not. In short, any tour agency just sell the price of golden crown plaza at 850baht (trust me). I cant specified a tour agency cos i always walked in and get a better rate than tour agency cos i know the bell boy and few receptionist there. Or u PM me and i tell u what to say to get a better rate or without voucher u more or less can get similar rate as tour agency.

agree with what hawk88 mention, just like in mayflower. My friend always help me make booking and its cheaper than getting voucher from travel agency. I just pay to the reception when I check out.

Pretty disappointed with Danok in recent trip. The power money-sucking thingy at partying joints is pissing me off (finally awaken after 3yrs). Even a simple meal is so expensive (not to mention that they tasted awful). No shopping malls, so very boring in the day.

Seriously thinking of trying Hatyai for a change.....

Never been to Hatyai. Any brudders able to tell me if I am able to find cheonging places like YES in Hatyai? Paragon and KPK for round 2?

Was reading the thread and found out that there are farms in Hatyai as well. What is the price like? Hope the quality is better in Hatyai.
