My Thai lady friend bought me there many times as it is quiet and romantic according to her.:D For Log Terrace, it shouldn't be a problem as it is also very famous place as a tourist dinner destination. If everything fails then it is very easy, walk into any tour agency, they will definitely know the place then asks them politely to help to write down the place in Thai then pass it to the tuk tuk. :D:D |

1) It should be around 15bahts per trip but foreigner like you and me normally give 20 bahts as they hardly give you back the change and there is also a recent hike in price due to petrol increase in Thailand, so it might be 20 bahts already. But if you are going to a further places out from the town center then they might ask for 30 bahts or more like to Log Terrace, okay! 2) Good, I Know but cheap and good.....I dunno how to answer you as when good no cheap, when cheap normally no good. I would recommend New Sessons or Mayflower or even Novotel. As they are near to the centre of shopping area within walking distance.:D |

Businesses owned by Yellow shirt Very safe places are those run by red shirt supporters :p (hint: look for hotels, shops, business that have picture of Thaksin placed somewhere visible to the public inside the premises) |

It is very subjective about cheap, to some people 1,500 bahts per night is cheap but to some 600 bahts and above is considered expensive. So difficult question!:D |

The New Sessons or Mayflower would roughly cost about 800 to 1000 for std room which is a bit expensive but it is new & hv good location . The House seem good can consider. Haven`t been to Hatyai for about 10 year suddenly feel like going again after reading this thread. This thread is Poison:D |
