planing to drive up to hat yai during first week of aug thinking of staying at new season for 2-3 days any bro have any suggestion whether is it safe to park there. Any bro have exprience driving there please comment.

Beside new season any other suggestion for a good place to stay?

but have the starting prices for KTV gone up lately? Last reports from some friends on another forum and (also some previous post from this thread) suggested KTV should be starting at 1500b , with some smaller shops could negotiate to 1200b- not sure of quality though.

HY is really cheap compared to places like Phuket, CM and BKK. You can get a nice hotel room for 400 baht and the best place in town is around 1,400 a night and that is for a suite. Same for the ladies, there are lots of low end brothel type places and SW who charge 500-700 baht S/T and most karaokes are in the 1,200-1,500 L/T range with the fresh ones going for 2,000 L/T.

Booking is generally done early say from 10-11 AM thru about 3 PM. The ladies will be with you until the next morning. The Basic SOP is she comes with you to the hotel for a quick pop and then she either stays there and you go out with your friends or she goes back to the "office" and waits for you to call her to come back for the night and morning pops. Up to you.

Thanks for bros (etct88 and Playman) reply, will sit down with the guard for a few smoke, so can sleep better at night, will drive up there on 2 Aug night time from Sing to hatyai(HLAND) will be back 6 of Aug ( first time so long distant will take this as an adventure to expericence ) only 2 driver to swap in between ;). been laying low since 2007 last trip to Hatyai hope to get back the first time feeling there :D, will write a FR which i promise for a old friend who cant join us.:D

Yes I guess u r right. I think I had most of the town covered in a one day reccee. Learning that Hatyai operates differently from Krungthep (who goes Bangkok chicken hunting at 10am?). I got the hotel name off the map where I think my last MGR was coz I didn't get to see the name of the hotel nor did I ask my moto-si rider.

The hotel I stayed in apparently there is a "new" (mai) and "old" (gae) Golden Crown. Apparently I'm staying at the "Golden Crown Mai". I've no idea where the "old" one is located.
