Wa bro.. you hit the nail on the head leh!!! Grand Plaza Hotel!! That was my virgin trip hotel I stay eons ago man.... swee swee... still look the same. Still remember that time Lee Gardens still not even up yet too.. hahaha

The more I see the pictures, the more I wanna re-visit Hatyai for a coouple of days.

But if you guys are saying Hatyai is now very much toned down deadtown then I think its quite sad. Used to have so much to do, so many happening places to go... so much "love" in the air when you see so many guys walking around holding hands on the streets.. hehehehe..

Sad to say that hatyai is indeed a dying town. :mad: It is not the same as what it used to be. Now I'm at dannok, find it a better place to cheong, more ladys and more fun. Will update on the dannok thread ASAP.

My friend recently got back from Hatyaai was telling me price in Hotel SC is still Batt5000 wor.Seemed like the price of all still the same despite the reduction in tourist.:(

Hi, I need help here. 4 of us have book a flight from Penang to JB. ETD from Penang is at 12pm noon. I have few things to clarify here.

1) Is there any transport from Hatyai early morning to Penang?? We are looking for transport at around 6.30am from Hatyai in order to catch a flight from Penang on the same day.

2) Otherwise we have to take a transport from Hatyai to Penang a day before. Any idea what time is the latest transport from Hatyai to Penang??
And care to share any transport agency no# in Hatyai which I can call and check this out?

3) What is the operating hours of Hatyai custom (exit Hatyai to Penang)?

I remember there is no transport out to penang that early. even u take vans think about 12pm then they start leaving to penang.

Try lovely tour or 707 ba. ask them any van to go there. i remember there is one kopi shop malaysian van drivers always sit there n drink kopi cant remember the place.

I suggest u go back 1 day b4 ba just incase there is a cock up....

It should be 6am if there is no change.
