Normally how much per room? During CNY should be more expensive right?

Normally during festival the hotel are being snap up by agents and the price can go up x 2 to x 3. so it kind of hard to reserve booking during this period unless u know the tour agent well.

As for normal period, you can call the agent or when you get there and buy a hotel voucher. should not post any problem getting a room during non festival season.

I used to travel to Hadyai quite a bit, but have not been there is about 15 months since my clients went bust thanks to the terrorists. I can give a little advice, maybe it is still useful.

Call the travel agency to book the room. If u reach there early in morn, then check in first, when agent open, get the voucher for them and present to the hotel

First trip there i stay Neo-O now stay Golden Crown (Old) Heard the new G.C is about the same as the old one and much more nearer to LCP. Mmmm regency their hot water saio saio de sometime ok sometime cant work de very sainz.

its good if u hv a big group of friends staying at lgp.
the last time i was there ,we basically almost hv all the rooms on one side.its so fun we can play games running in n out of each other room....
furthermore room are nice,big and clean.morning breakfast not bad either.

Thank you so much to all bro here for sharing so much info. Just to keep u all update with the hotel rate since i just received the email from LGP reservation, the hotel rate will remain no change till Thursday(7 Feb 2008) but extra 400 baht surcharge will impliment start from Friday(8 Feb 2008) till Sunday(10 Feb 2008) due to Chinese New Year.
So i manage to secure the room at 1149 baht since i check in on 7 Feb(chu yi) then check out on next day. Good news for me!:)
