Its the annual 九皇爺 celebration in the southern thailand. they held prayers annually during the lunar 9th month in Phuket, trang and hatyai. Alot of the thai devotees will be vegetarian during this period.

Taxi from AP to Town is THB 350 (max 4pax) ,,, THB 300 from Town to AP (u can book @ any local tour agents)

Mini Van (max 8 pax) THB 550 (AP~Town) ,,, THB 500 (Town ~ AP)

Tok Tok in town to any nearby area THB 20 per pax

there are many hotel in H City and U are encourage to book your Hotel by buying Voucher from the local tour agents,, &, pls take note that the room rate can shooting up and down like our stocks mkt nowaday ,,,
I stayed @ Novotel from 12 Sept ~ 15 Sept ,, the rate is THB 1350 .
my kakis stay on for another 3 days ,, (ie 16~18 Sept) ,, the rate increased to THB 2200 :cool::mad:

After danok trips when up to hatyai. took taxi but not van @ 60rm. when going up caught in a police stop.
