In general, i'd rather agree that CP4 i have better looking gal, but sometimes can find gems in PL too. Nobody wanna try Chintana meh ??? :p

haha ... i went before 500bt - 700bt nia . but most of them all scrap car materials .... Pink Lady is tooooooooo expensive , i rather you all try nice lady just opposite hatyai merlin hotel , 1200bt , green, cheap and fresh~

If taking TG very expensive and time consuming.. cost TG do not fly direct to Hatyai but via bkk.. have a look here eg.

Furthurmore very expensive... for both ways..

Yours is a fair "what if" costing with long overlay and inconvenience of shuttling Suvarnabhum/Don Muang. Might as well jump off plane to enjoy bkk's sights.

Just to clarify, you can do this >50% cheaper routing via bkk -but still not cost worthwhile and silly way (unless you are enroute):

Regular airline sin/bkk/sin
= S$350 (not SQ, TG or CX -can even get ard300)

Domestic bkk/hdy/bkk
= S$200 (Nokair, AirAsia, 1-2-go less than bht4k)

Total cost = S$550 (say $600).

Reason for your S$1.6k is you have relied on posted (list) prices ex TG.

So unless Tiger changes mind, it's either the 14 hour bus ride or some combo Air Asia routing via Malaysia. Hdy tourist industry kena again

Our bro yingyang back from Japan oledi. I dunno why Air asia is not flying to HDY but instead to a not-so-favourite destination for MY / SG fellas, i.e. Krabi. It will be tedious for SG fellas to fly to HDY, at least KL fellas can fly to PEN or Krabi or AOR and take a shorter bus ride to HDY.

My FR on Paragon Disco in Hatyai, pls up my rep points if U like it.

I been there 9 times in my last 5 visits, Last visit in May 2007

Decor:

This is one huge complex, it has lost its past glory from what I see. The place is pitch dark, there are 2 floor in this building and it is located next to Bar Berry. It has many tables there, did not count exactly but can hold at least 500 people. The ceiling is darn high while the stage is big. The speakers next to the stage is choke full of people who are high. Be forewarned, U can be deaf if U stand next to it.

Band:
There are only 1 show in this place where the performance will last for about 1 hrs or so. Give or take, there are a mixture of Chinese, Thai, English, Hokkien songs sang here. There are different number of lady and male singers when I was there, the most I saw is 10 ladies and 8 males singers cum dancers. The least was 6 ladies and 4 males singers cum dancers. Ms Paragon (I call her Ms Paragon as she always sing solo when I was there) is here in Singapore in TD 1 now. Always love her looks and her movement, super elegant.

Food:
The food IMHO is not good because they would always serve me either a plate of fried chicken strips or mango which is not tasty at all.

Drinks:
I always have bottled beers when I was here, if I remember correctly, it was about 5 bottles for 1000 baht together with the food.

Damage:
It does not cost much to send here because I would be accompany by a lady which I already had when I arrive here. Always around 1500 to 2000 bahts as I sometimes bought the 100 baht beads for the singers. The ladies accompanying U always sign on the slip, don't really know what it means and I don't bother.

Crowd:
The people who visit this joints are usually older people like me, not much youngsters there at all, got Malaysians, local Thais and Singaporeans.

Ladies:
There are always a few tables where there are only girls around, mostly FL or ladies who are not booked at the farm.

Language spoken:
English, Hokkien, Thai, Chinese, no worries, the bouncers speak all these languages.

I got one incident there where I was pulled to one side by a bouncer who was about to hit me as I brought in a camera which I was not aware that I cannot bring. They always frisk me when I visit. Luckily one of the bouncer just told me to delete all the photos which I did. He also say that camera phones are allowed. I wonder why a camera phone can but a camera cannot. Hence on my last visit I brought my N95 to take video but alamak, battery not enough and only managed to take 2 videos only. :mad:

Summary
Of course U must visit there if U are in Hatyai. I always visit here whenever I am in Hatyai as the show is really good. Besides this place, IMHO, there are really limited places where good entertainment can be found here.

well anyway was talking to a friend who is an agent for tiger airway. He said Tiger airway planning to stop flying to hatyai after sept. if this true then really no flight liao. so sgp bros had to take bus liao.

Bro YY hehehe when i was green, i try PL then CP4 cos had to lakkai so had to find somewhere my ex tirrak cannot find me. hehehe

After trying BKK apnam no way i trying h. city apnam, very simple i find more gems there hehehehehe for the a slighly higher price kekeke :D

hehehe what bro YY said is true. if i take TG to bkk what for go hatyai liao. Stay in BKK n sanook better, spend so much $$$ just to fly to hatyai might as well take the money n book girls in Siam hotel or go apnam song khon or go both in one nite still got change back :D

using TG is not very relevant cos there is budget airline that flight to bkk n budget airline fly to hatyai in the new airport. dont need to take nok air or 1 2 go.

Airasia flys to hatyai from bkk which is in the new airport. save ur time but still it a waste of money to fly so far out to bkk n fly down to hatyai.

as what bro YY said take coach up else there is one last way but i still find it troublesome is to fly to krabi and then take van down think still better taking flight down from bkk ;)
