Thanks in advance :)

Based on my limited knowledge, there is one at diagonally opposite Hatyai Central Hotel (not the Chinese funeral parlour) and one opposite the popular and reasonably priced Kan Eng restaurant. There may be more in downtown but i dun know.

Btw, our tuk tuk friends, after when you say ma ow to their proposal of puyings tour, will pester you to bring you to temples outside the city centre and at a price of course.

If you are interested in a cheap and good oil or foot massage, can try Tun Nee at also opposite Hatyai Central Hotel. Oil massage goes at 450b for 2 hours and foot, 180b for 1 hour. Can even call to hotel room without extra charges.

Around the area in downtown, its 700b for oil and 300 for foot, slightly cheaper if you buy vouchers from the tour shops there.

Btw, would like to recommend you No 6 from Tun Nee. A relatively fair thai ah lian who is superb in her foot, thai and oil massage. Also not shy to rub into your groin area. Not your typical syt but also not a milf. Not really a stunner but still ok in look.

But her down blouse during the foot massage is a killer, easily a 36 size. As for thai or oil massage, you can negotiate if you call her to your hotel room :-)

Sori, no FR for LT.

i just came back from hatyai last monday with a group of friends. we spend a weekend there.
i thought of sharing my experience here as i collected info here before my departure.

we took a coach from golden miles on a friday evening. i believed this period been the school holidays, so do expect delay at the customs and along the way. it took us 16 hours to reach hatyai city to rest our aching backs and asses..

and do book your hotels vouchers in advance, we have a hard time finding enough accommodation for everyone in the same hotel. hatyai was very crowded, a lot of malaysians and singaporens on the streets, the more popular restaurants like gan eng was also full of customers. kiss channel, needless to say, was packed to the brim!!

we had a good time eating, drinking and enjoying the companion of puyings. just remember that to book your tickets, vouchers and everything else in advance to avoid disappointment.

how do you book hotel vouchers in advance?
call the travel agency from singapore?

Buying the voucher from the local tour agency for your desire hotel room in Hatyai city is definitely lower than those online service... However take note during festive holidays, most popular hotels will raise their room rate and eventually have full occupancy.

There are many tour agency around in the Hatyai city for you to purchase the hotel room voucher and exchange currency once you land there. If you prefer advance booking, you may contact the local tour agency to make the arrangement.

Good luck have fun ;)

Southern Thai girls ?.

You may be screwing a southern Thai girl that speaks Thai but actually an illegal immigrant without proper Thai ID and from Laos, Myamnar, Yunan. But a screw is still a screw !.

Hatyai is good place for lau jiao liked you since you are old ( liked you said before in your FRs ) to visit a place where younger people party and have fun.

Go to this place and the heart in your body cannot take it and stops beating. Just my friendly advise.

Have a great trip!:D:D

P/S: In the morning at 7am (Thai time) there is a "Tam Boon" to the monks, novice monks and nuns at the junction of Talak Kim Yong very near if you are staying in Mayflower Hotel (within walking distance about 3 mins max). Change lots of coins of 10 bahts or 20 bahts depending on your budget.

Normally there will be about 20-30 of them. Good Luck! Chok Dee na Krap!

To all the expert Bros, anyone been to Wat ChangHai at Pattani before? Wats the duration like from Hatyai to Wat ChangiHai cos I was thinking of going there to pay my respect to Luang Phor Tuwat..

Wat Chang Hai is further down southeast of hatyai. You will pass by Nathawee towards Wat Chang Hai. Estimated time to Wat Chang Hai is 1 1/2hour to 2 hours and to Wat Nathawee is 1 hour.

Wat Chang Hai is in Pattani next to Yala is best to get a driver that know that place well. Choke dee na

i am going on 24th , does it consider peak period for hotel to raise thier rates?

As of 17-June-2011, courteous from 707 Tours, please find the normal rates per night below as a guide for you:

New Season = 910 baht
Golden Crown = 750 baht
Golden Crown Plaza = 850 baht
Garden Home, old wing = 400 baht
Garden Home, new wing = 600 baht
Lee Garden, old wing = 550 baht
Lee Garden, new wing = 650 baht
Lee Garden Plaza = 1050 baht

24th of which month and year? There is no news about raising the hotel rates for 24-June-2011. However there will be some crowd maybe it is weekend and school holidays.

Have fun!

There are many so call "Temple in a cave" in thailand. It's hard to know which one your friend had visited based on guessing. The best is to ask the tour group that your friend went with. Choke dee karp

A couple of years ago I did try to visit that temple...... about 1 hour into the journey there our van came to a roadblock manned by soldiers and all of us had to get down and our belongings were searched..... they even brought in sniffer dogs to check the van...... after questioning our thai driver..... the soldiers told us to abort our trip and return back to Hatyai.

Later we found out from the tour agency that we were turned back because of islamic separatist attacks that had occurred on buddhist targets that morning in Pattani and Yala.
